The Steward in CHC Events

On the day before Halloween, CHC was out again at Franklin Rd in Marietta, GA for a community outreach even hosted by Mt. Paran Church of God. A medical tent was set up with a few nurse practitioners who saw patients from the community. They drew blood to document triglyceride and cholesterol as well as to test for pre-diabetes symptoms. One man who was helped could not work because of multiple surgeries from falling off a roof while working on a project. He had had no access to medical care and needed insulin very badly for his diabetic condition. CHC was able to get him the prescriptions he needed to begin his medication treatment. Another community member was treated for a broken finger. All in all a good time was had by all. Thanks to Mt. Paran for helping make this event possible.
